Re-Opening America: What Patients Should Know About Seeking Healthcare »
Update: 1/2021
Due to the recent surge and the new Corona Virus Strain, Georgia Kidney Associates is converting the majority of our January appointments to virtual visits. Virtual appointments are conducted via smartphone in the comfort of your own home. If a smartphone is not available, the visit will be conducted via a conversation on your landline. Please let our schedulers know which type of appointment you prefer.
To ensure the safety of our patients and staff we have established the following policies:
Please arrive on time for your appointment. Patients who arrive too early may be asked to wait in their cars until closer to the appointment time.
Limit Guests to one per patient. Children are not permitted in the office at this time. Non-essential guests may also be asked to wait in their car if social distancing becomes a problem.
Disposable finger covers are provided at the sign in kiosk.
ALL, STAFF, PATIENTS AND GUESTS WILL HAVE THEIR TEMPERATURES TAKEN AND MUST WEAR A MASK WHILE IN THE OFFICE.
In addition to frequent cleaning and disinfecting throughout the day and after hours, our offices receive a deep viral cleaning on a weekly basis.
Our phone lines will remain open during our normal business hours. Monday-Friday 9AM-5PM. As the majority of our staff will continue to work remotely PLEASE TURN OFF ANY BLOCKS FOR UNKNOWN CALLERS OR NUMBERS in order to receive our calls.
COVID-19 VACCINE: We are in the process of applying to administer the vaccine. Please inform our staff if you would like to receive one and you will be contacted when our application is approved.
Effective 1/11/2021 the general public aged 65 and older can schedule appointments with their local health departments to receive the vaccine If you have an opportunity to receive the vaccine before we are approved, please do so and inform us so we can take you off our list.
